【TOEICと英検２級のための練習】一夜賢者の偈を英訳してみた（直訳）
はいどうも、とうとう来月にTOEICのL/RとS/W、英検２級を受けます
今のところ一番怪しいのはライティングですね。なんか分詞構文とか色気出してやんないほうがいいと思います。もうちょいしたら文法をおさらいして英検２級の勉強に1週間くらいは費やします。ＴＯＥＩＣの詰め込み勉強の回もあって文字が出てくればなんとなくは景色的に読み取れるようにもなり、模擬のきょうかしょはLRともに60点の平均的なところに来て、あわよくば600点代に乗るのでは？っていうところまで来ています
そしてホリエモンのスピーチにめちゃめちゃ似ているこの内容。実は仏教の教えでもあったんですね。国内通訳案内士の逐次通訳の一時は絶対に通らないと判断して今年は諦めます(笑)ハードル上げすぎたんでこちらを今の精一杯＋昼休みの時間を使って雑にアウトプットしていきます
一夜賢者の偈
a wise person of overnight of merit
過去は追うな。
Do not be trapped in the past
未来を願うな。
do not wish the future
過去はすでに捨てられ、
the past threw out already
未来はまだ来ない。
the future is not come yet
だから、ただ現在のことを ありのままに観察し、
so that observe this moment and the present what happen only
動揺することなく、
do not upset
よく理解して、実践せよ。
carry out and understand well
ただ今日すべきことを熱心になせ。
handle what you should do keenly
明日、死のあることを誰が知ろうか。
no one know the death in tomorrow
かの死神の大軍と会わないわけはない。
can’t meet the crowded god of death
このように考えて、熱心に昼夜おこたることなく励む人、
think like this, the person is carrying out what his or her things day and night without be lazy.
このような人を一夜賢者といい、
we called a wise person of overnight of merit like them
寂静者、寂黙者と人はいう。
they called ”silent person ”. people say like this
■ちょっと直訳した感想を言う
let me say my impression that I wrote a directly translate [Ichiya-kenjanoge]一夜賢者の偈
I becoming to understand each sentence but not clear. it is vague. I have to know more an English word and grammar. sometime interrupted my concentration because I wrote this after finished TOEIC pre-exam.
and concept is very difficult.
this poem has origin in the Buddhism. this poem say’s an essence of life and Human being.
if try to translate more concretely, I may need to lean the Buddhism or enroll to the temple. All the person who wants to lean the Buddhism seriously, they must do ”shyukke”
”shyukke” is very strict judge for all person who enroll in a temple. almost trainee for Buddhism, they have to throwaway the wonder, the worry, their family temporary for training of it. While training for the Buddhist ,they can not get contact their relative, wife, family if that person were have them. This is discipline for training.
But each ”shyu-ha” that is called sect existing the Buddhist. this has unique feature each sect. also I can not know all of them.some sect allowed to get contact with their relation or friend and theirs muster gives some allowance.
However, I don’t have experience of ”shyukke”. I can not say anymore
anyway, I have to try more and more
